Neat journal thingy... o.O

So I'm totally bored right now and should be writing a 3 page essay about the Godfather II and why it was such a "phenomenal" sequel for my film class. Of course it's totally due tomorrow and of course I procrastinated the balls out of it, but that's alright. I just don't feel like doing that. So instead I'm writing a random journal because I feel like it.

I'm not sure why I'm doing so, I just kind of am. Passing the time maybe? I don't know. I'm just sort of spilling my thoughts unto the internets.

I haven't written in a long while. I just don't seem to have the inspiration that I used to have anymore. I'm just not feeling the juices flowing, ya know? I really do want to write. I have the strong desire to write some kind of poem that'd end up being better than the rest of mine, but every time I try they all turn out being complete piles of shit. The lines just don't rhyme or match up quite right, or they're not keeping proper time... though most of the time it just ends up being a case of a bad topic to write about. I've tried damn near everything. It's awful I tell you.

Hell, now that I look back on some of my previous work it all seems kinda bad. I read through some of this and all of the words don't seem to snap and connect like they used to. What the hell is wrong with me? I sit here and listen to all this music for hours upon hours a day and all of the lyrics are so amazing. Everything just works so well. I need a lyricist to tutor me on how to write -.-

I wanna write good shit damn it! I wanna write something that's good enough to make people stop after they've read it and say "Wow, that was really, really good!" or something like that. Maybe not that cheesy and bland, but something to that effect. And not just my friends... I'm talking about everyone.

I have no idea why, either. God help me... >.<

U P D A T E ! ! !

So I found this old as balls poem within the grand expanse of my Gmail inbox tonight and I remember that it was the only poem I ever wrote that ended up truly stunning people. Even my creative writing teacher was like "holy shit" and I totally found it. It looks very rhythmically and flowingly sound to me. All of it except the ending, which looks rushed and looks like I was in a hurry to finish a work of art, which you can never do. Never rush art. So I intend to edit the FUCK out of this thing until it becomes some kind of weirdo "masterpiece" or something like that. Since I can't come up with anything new I'll just delve back to a part of my brain that I forgot existed.

Ladies, time to get to work.
